Are you an experienced Rust Engineer who enjoys building high-performance systems where speed and reliability really matter?

For a fast-growing company within the crypto and trading industry, we are looking for a Trading Engineer to work on a proprietary high-frequency trading platform. This is not your typical software development role. You’ll be working on complex trading systems that process large amounts of data and transactions, where performance and low latency are key.

What will you be doing?

As a Trading Engineer, you’ll work closely with both engineers and traders to further develop and scale the trading platform.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Developing, maintaining and scaling the backend of the trading platform;
  • Building and optimizing high-throughput, low-latency software;
  • Implementing new trading strategies together with traders;
  • Integrating and connecting third-party APIs;
  • Improving platform performance, stability and scalability;
  • Providing technical and operational support to traders;
  • Contributing to the technical architecture of the platform.

What are we looking for?

  • 4+ years of experience in software development;
  • At least 2 years of professional experience with Rust;
  • Experience building high-throughput and low-latency applications;
  • Knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/UDP;
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases;
  • Experience with CI/CD;
  • MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Econometrics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset.

Experience with concurrent programming, distributed systems, Linux, TypeScript/Node.js, system-level optimization or FIX protocol is a plus.
