While crypto experience is not a hard requirement, this role is particularly well-suited to engineers who have built exchange-grade infrastructure, matching engines, market data pipelines, or high-throughput order routing systems in top crypto or traditional trading environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Core backend services in Rust for low-latency (& ULL) trading and market data.
High-performance components such as order routing, risk checks, pub-sub systems, and real-time data distribution.
System-level performance tuning: CPU profiling, memory optimisation, network-level debugging.
Scalable, fault-tolerant services used by internal trading teams and external partners.
Close collaboration with quant, infra, and platform teams on latency–critical paths.
Requirements:
Senior-level Rust experience with production systems at scale.
Background in crypto exchanges, DEXs, market makers, or high-frequency electronic trading.
Experience with matching engines, market data handlers, low-latency networking (TCP/UDP), kernel-level tuning, lock-free data structures, or similar.
Deep knowledge of concurrency, distributed systems, and systems programming.
Strong performance-oriented mindset with a track record of optimising microseconds.
