Our current roles are hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office (Bucharest).
🚀Then what? Senior Rust Developer, with the following tasks:
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reliable, and secure backend systems and applications using Rust Architect scalable solutions in a microservices environment
- Active participation in daily meetings and agile ceremonies
- Get involved in full lifecycle development phases that include solution design, development, unit testing, integration, and acceptance testing support
- Mentor team members, helping to maintain high code quality, organization, and automation best practices
- Leverage async programming and ensure memory safety utilizing Rust’s ownership model
- Use and optimize the CI/CD pipeline of the services in order to perform builds, tests, and deployments Integrate newly developed tools and cloud-native features
Required technical skills:
- Min. 5 years of software engineering experience, with at least 4-5 years of proven, hands-on experience in Rust
- Deep understanding of Rust's memory safety, concurrency, and async ecosystem (e.g., Tokio)
- Experience with Rust web frameworks (such as Actix, Axum, or Rocket)
- Proficiency in REST APIs or gRPC, as well as relational and non-relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis)
- Experience with public cloud environments (GCP/AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- CI/CD pipelines
