What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and test SFG in C++ or Rust (Windows/Linux) as the transparent proxy between WAF and backend.
  • Implement the core flow: intercept uploads → forward to MetaDefender Core over ICAP → return sanitized files, with low latency and high reliability.
  • Build multi-threaded, high-concurrency networking components.
  • Build and use agentic workflows (e.g., Claude Code, autonomous coding agents) daily for coding, testing, and debugging.
  • Work within a Scrum team; collaborate with Product Management; do peer code reviews.

What We Need

  • Strong OOP background, solid C/C++, willing to learn/work in Rust.
  • Solid multi-threading and network programming skills.
  • Comfort with protocol/network-level concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, proxying).
  • Genuine interest in using AI tools in your dev workflow.
  • Experience building or using multi-agents
  • Good coding/debugging skills, strong communication, self-motivated.

Nice to Have

  • ICAP protocol, reverse proxy / gateway experience.
  • REST API design.
  • Agile/Scrum, Git/Bitbucket/Jira/Confluence/TeamCity.
  • DBMS (SQLite, PostgreSQL, etc.).
  • Windows/Linux dev experience.
