Plexus has partnered with a new client building next-generation financial infrastructure at the intersection of AI, financial markets, and blockchain.
They’re looking for a Founding Engineer to join at the ground floor and help architect and build the core platform from scratch.
The Role
- Design and build core infrastructure across financial markets, settlement, and blockchain.
- Shape protocol and system architecture alongside the founders.
- Ship production-grade systems, primarily in Rust, with ZK and Solidity also relevant.
- Use AI-native workflows and agentic orchestration to dramatically accelerate development.
- Own problems end-to-end, from architecture through production.
What They’re Looking For
- NYC-based or willing to relocate.
- AI-native: experienced using multiple AI agents in parallel to increase engineering velocity.
- Founder mentality or experience solving genuinely hard technical problems.
- Strong systems background; Rust is the primary language.
- Experience in areas such as HFT, DeFi, compilers, kernels, or other high-complexity systems is highly relevant.
